Approx Size: 5 to 6 inches
A member of the Cassidae, known as Helmet or Bonnet shells, they are a large family of very solid, often thickened shells, found in shallow tropical seas on sand, where they enjoy feeding on sea urchins.

These really are stunning shells and make a wonderful addition to anyone’s collection or would make an ideal gift as a stand alone “ornament”
The Cameo shell hails from the Indo Pacific region – it is also commonly known as the Red Helmet shell.
Striking colours – mother nature at it’s best
